Diet and Nutrition Plan

Diet and Nutrition Plan

What does nutrition have to do with a diet? Quite a
bit actually. The best weight loss diet you can choose
is one that makes sure to cover your nutrition
requirements.

I have not posted in a while, due to taking some time
off for a bad back. Today I had a session with a man
who was really fighting weight.

The sad thing is that he like many people cut out meals,
and he had never considered some foods that were good
for him, that would not put on weight.

You want to make sure to get in plenty of vegetables and
some fruit - 7 to 9 servings a day. A serving size is about
one half cup.

Eat low to moderate glycemic foods so that you do not
spike your blood sugar and your body produce too much
insulin to take care of that, which then turns to fat.
You can look up glycemic index for the foods on the
Internet.

As well, make sure you get adequate protein through out
the day in a couple small servings and drink plenty of
water.

This way you meet your nutritional needs and are still
able to have a diet plan.
