Counting Calories

Counting Calories

Many people choose to count calories to lose weight
fast and without too much difficulty. Here are some
great tips on counting calories.

In counting calories you decide how many calories you
will consume each day and plan accordingly. For instance
a normal man or women usually can eat 2000 calories per
day without adding weight. By dropping your calories 25%
to 1500 calories as well as exercise burning another 300
calories you can have a total caloric intake of only 1200
calories per day.

This way you can lose possibly 2 to 3 pounds per week or a
total of 8 to 12 pounds per month. It would not be good to
cut your calories below about 1500 to 1200 and remain
balanced in your eating habits.

Be sure to eat fresh fruits, plenty of vegetables and
lean meats or other protein sources daily.

Of course, cut out the processed food such as TV dinners,
chips and fast food. They only add calories and artificial
chemicals that your body doesn't need. Stop drinking soda
and start drinking fresh water.

Counting calories can work, if you work at it. Just remain
balanced and realize you are working at good nutrition at
the same time you are losing excess weight.
